Registration is a 2-step process: 1) Pay your registration fee via the payment link; and 2) complete the registration form application below.

  1. There are four registration options available: 1) Full Symposium (student), 2) Full Symposium (non-student), 3) Single-day Attendance (student) and 4) Single-day Attendance (non-student).
  2. Each registration option has its own payment link (see Pay Registration Fee).
  3. Click on the payment link that is relevant for your registration option.
  4. You will be directed to a Stellenbosch University Electronic payment page where you will have to enter your details (name, email, phone number). This information is only for the payment – it is NOT your registration for the Symposium. You still need to complete the registration form below.
  5. Continue to ‘Proceed to Payment’.
  6. You will be taken to a PayU page where you will need to enter your credit/debit card details.
  7. Make sure the correct amount is showed and press ‘Pay’.
  8. From here you will be directed to your bank’s secure site for authentication.
  9. After your payment is completed, you will receive an email receipt that contains a ‘Client Reference’ code. Keep this code close as you will need it for your registration form submission.
  10. Please check your ‘Spam’ folder if you haven’t receive the email receipt. It might take awhile to come through.
  11. Now scroll down to the Registration form.
  12. Complete all the fields.
  13. Add the Client Reference code from your email receipt at the required Client Reference code field.
  14. Now you can ‘Submit’ your regsitration.
  15. You will receive an email confirmation after your registration was submitted and after your payment reflected.

Cancellation policy

In the event that you are unable to attend the symposium you are required to inform us in writing of your registration cancellation. Send your email to Christy Momberg at christymomb@sun.ac.za

  1. If you cancel 30 days or more before the event, you can request a full refund.
  2. If you cancel more than 14 days before the event there will be a 20% administration fee and you will be refunded 80% of your payment.
  3. There will be no refund for cancellations that are made less than 14 days before the event.

You will be liable for all relevant transaction fees.

All registration fees, except Single-day Attendance, include the Gala dinner on Tuesday evening, 10 November 2026. Single-day Attendance is for day-time activities ONLY, no evening functions included.
